Thank you for your email. There must be some misunderstanding as I have not solved the problem of synchrinising on to my Archos 605 WiFi. I am now thinking the player could be faulty. I have tried every possible way to do so. I have had a computer person in to try and they did not succeed in syncing.

I have not yet solved the problem. I cannot contact Archos as they never recognise my password although I have their confirmation, which they sent when I registered the 605 WiFi. I think it is the USB connection that is the problem. I have tried all the USB ports on my computer with no result. I tried to phone their helpline, but on my landline got a recorded voice saying "The number was barred" and from another landline phone the the reception kept breaking up. Phoning from a mobile got the same poor reception. I am thinking I may have to give up.

My computer recognizes this hard drive, but windows media player does not

With Windows Media Player open, hit the F3 key. You get an Add To Library window providing you with an option to sync folders from other an external hard drive.
Select the option to add My folders and those of others I can access. Then you click the Add button.
Now you can see the Add Folder window. Search for the folder where you stored your music on the external hard drive and select it. Then click the OK button.
This will add the selected folder on the external hard drive to the list of synced folders. Once the Add Folder window disappears, Windows Media Player starts syncing the music and adding it to it's library.

Delete photos from my apple ipad

If to have the iPad before the camera was added, you have the original iPad. If you synced the photos from your computer, you have to remove the photos by syncing with iTunes again, but you have to "uncheck" the albums or folders that you want to remove.
1.Connect the iPad to the computer and launch iTunes.
2.Click on the iPad name on the left side under devices.
3.Click on the Photos Tab on the right.
4.Uncheck all of the albums or folders that you want to remove from the iPad under the Sync Photos from heading.
5.If you want to remove all of the photos - uncheck the Sync Photos From heading
6.Click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes

How do you do you delete sync phots from ipod touch

Hi there,
I'm guessing what you did was do the photo sync on itunes where you specify a folder to sync the photos with? To find the folder you chose, go to itunes, click on your device and then go to the photos tab. and then there are multiple options for what you want to sync/ already have synced.
Remove any checkboxes for folders you don't want to be synced or if you have sync all folders on, switch it to just selected folders and choose the ones you want.
I would encourage you to just make an "ipod pictures" folder in the "my pictures" folder with the photos you want and just continuously update it and edit it to have what you like.

If you want to remove just one photo from a folder, but not all, you'll have to go out of itunes into the actual folder on your computer and remove the photos you don't want.

resync and have the folder you want!
Hope this helps and thanks for using Fixya. Remember to rate and vote if this was useful!

How do I transfer my photos from my documents on my PC to my IPAD

  1. Plug the iPad into your computer to sync it.
  2. When the iPad management screen appears, click the "Photos" tab at the top.
  3. Check the "Sync Photos" box at the top.
  4. From the drop-down menu next to that, select the program or folder that contains your photo library.
  5. Depending on what program you use, you'll have different options. These may include syncing individual galleries or your entire photo album.
  6. If you're syncing a folder of images, you can navigate through your hard drive to find the correct folder and then sync that entire folder or just select subfolders in it.
  7. Once all your settings are correct, click the "Apply" button at the bottom right corner of the iTunes window to sync again and add photos to your iPad.

How do you remove synced photos from the iphone?

You can do this in iTunes - with the iPhone connected select the 'photos' tab and deselect the folder containing the photos, then hit Sync to remove them.
Alternatively, just move the photos to a different location on your hard drive (out of any folder that is set to sync to iPhone), then connect to iTunes and hit sync.
Hope that helps!

Songs don't want to synchronize onto my device

First you need to sync device before adding songs. First plug in device, than make sure computer notices player. Than go into media player or music folder and sync device. Than you can either create a sync list from there, or you can drag songs from music folder into your player folder.

Open start menu, my computer, E,F, or G drive should have player on it. You can drag songs from music folder into this drive folder and they will be automatically added

Problem syncing mp3's to mp3 player with Windows Media Player

This isn't necessarily a solution, but:
Within WMP, I believe under Help, Check for Updates. Won't hurt.

Depending on your media player ... you say generic, but there's surely a brand ... you may find it "mounted," like a CD or hard disk, within your My Computer section. On my dad's Sansa, for example, you can directly copy over music files, but videos have to be converted in a certain way. There's a default structure -- that is, there's a folder for podcasts, a folder for music, a folder for movies, whatever.

Without knowing the specifics of your device, it's tough to give a good answer. Try checking for updates, and if that doesn't do anything, then see if you can get at the drive deliberately and start copying over your files yourself.

Sync to Public/Shared Folders in Outlook

Yes you can. You can sync to public folders using Chapura’s Keysuite, which allows you to choose the folder (or folders) you want to sync to. I have been doing so for years with different Treos, and in fact their synchronisation software is much better than that which comes with the Treo 650.
