Question about Vtech V.Smile Adapter

2 Answers

V-smile crashed 7 days after I baught my son a V-smile, it shut down on him. I monitor his play time and have given him the opportunity to use your product while in the house or car and only when I am around. He has treated his game with respect, but , while on a road trip, it began to shut off. After pushing the on button, the game would make the initial prompt sound and shut off again. After several times, it did nothing! I replaced the batteries and still...no luck. Please let me know if there is a solution to this issue. I really cannot afford to buy a new system. Please contact me via e-mail at jnorton@austin-ind.com or by phone (318)789-5570. Thank you, Jamie Norton

I really can't afford to spend any more money on something that may not be effective. Does this product not come with a manufacter's warranty? If not, guarantee I will never purchase anything from this company again. Please consider that I have spent about $75.00 on less than 8 hours on entertainment! Work with me please!

Our daughter got one last christmas, after 6 months or so, it has stopped working. It was a present from grandama and I don't think it has a warranty, certainly no receipt can be found. It's very dissapointing and I have heard from other parents who bought this V-Smile that theirs just stopped working too for no reason. We thought it was the batteries, so kept buying more, then we got the adaptor, still won't work. Now and then it works, but not often.

Are the games Windows 7 compatible. They should have a notice on the box. If not, you can try installing them in compatibility mode.

Monitor shuts off randomly!

1. This is main-board related. You either have a Micro controller or power supply issue that needs to be address by a tech. Shut down is direct relation to a circuit component in the start up that has failed.

Moniter shuts down while playing wow while not in windows mode

Go to your computer's Control Panel, Power properties, and change the power scheme to Always On, where hard disk shutdown, monitor turn off and system suspend are all set to "never". This should help.

Dell Optiplex GX 270 crashing on the Internet

Hi

Download a "stress" testing programme called Prime95 and read instructions / run it through. I assume that ALL the ram matches perfectly. If this tester crashes PC alot, remove one ram stick at a time, may actually narrow the offender down. Also bear in mind that a programme could also be crashing PC so try using control Alt Del and go into "processes" and shut down ONE at a time / retest. This will take time but will narrow down the offender. You actually only need to run Prime 95 for a short time.....till it crashes PC. Eventually once you have stability the PC should run with no probs overnight!!

No signal

This sounds like your Video card might not be compatible with the game you are playing. You might need a better video card. Before you do anthing else, check to see if your computer is fast enough to play it.

Big games can crash slow computers, also it could just be a bad monitor.

Try checking the cord between the monitor and the computer.
