Question about Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router
My main pc is windows vista and I have broadband service through our cable. I also have in another room a desktop pc that was originally windows 98 but was upgraded to XP. I want to hook up internet service on the second pc using a router but I do not want cords running from pc to pc. I need help on exactly what I need to purchase to hook this up so I don't have to make multiple trips trying to buy what I need.
In addition to a wireless router you will need a wireless reciever for each PC you wish to have working simultaneously (assuming the PC does not already have a wireless networking capability) .
The wireless receiver is usually a USB or laptop PC slot device which you plug in to the PC and after installation of the necessary software (usually supplied with the device) you can surf wirelessly. The USB type wireless devices are about GB£20 to buy .

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
