Question about Printers & Copiers
Dear Sir and/or Madam,
I have a Canon Laser Shot LBP-1120 Printer that is in need of cleaning. I am no computer boffin but two of my friends have tried to find an option for cleaning the printer heads - which apparently all other printers have, alas not this one!
My printer is performing well but some of the lines of printed text look much weaker than others and are barely readable. Can you please give me some instructions how my printer can be cleaned. Unless the instructions are very simply and easy to follow, I am afraid I shall not be able to carry this out myself but will pass the info on to my friends, so they can have a go for me.
Thanks a million in advance for any assistance you can give in this matter.
Hope you're having a wonderful day.
With kind regards,
You wont have any option for cleaning the print head as this is a laser printer and has a laser scanner unit
two possible solutions
first is to replace the toner cart which has the image drum and developer built into it this may solve the problem if it dosent then the printer will need to be stripped and the scanner unit lenses and mirrors cleaned (not a simple and easy task)
