Hello Johnny,
Well you have not mentioned the camera model in which you are facing this problem, but this is due to the Memory Card which is switched on for write protect, unprotect it and the problem will be resolved or change the card as it has exhausted.
Regards,
Manoj

Write protect is on the screen

Remove the storage card from the camera and look for the Write Protect switch on it. The switch will usually have a locked and an open padlock symbol. Ensure that it is set to the open, unprotected setting.

Tip

Protect your device screens properly!

The best advice I can give if you are worried about the safety of your cell phone screen and the durability of the glass is to protect it properly.

If an Otter case is not available for your phone, I highly recommend the Skinomi Tech Glass screen protectors in conjunction with a Caseology or Mercury TPU case (all available on Amazon).

The lip on the edge of the case protects the screen from most damage that occurs if your phone falls to the floor.

The glass screen protector helps protect your screen glass while still allowing you to use your phone without the plastic feel of vinyl screen protectors.

It costs a little extra, but it's worth doing without the extra hassle later!

What does a screen guard do on phone? Are they worth buying?

Screen protectors help protect phone screens against scratches and damage. They also help to protect the glass from breaking if it's dropped on the floor.
Some people claim that they don't really work but they aren't too expensive and if they possibly protect your expensive phone from damage, it's worth a try.

How do I enter the Test Mode on my RISO 790 duplicator?

Do you mean into the unprotected mode?, if so

Turning OFF Protect mode in a Riso MZ 790u (and other models I'm sure).

1. Go to Admin Tab on the main console screen and scroll to the "Protect" button.
2. Select (press) the "Protect" button on the screen; printer will go through a reset function (takes about 3-5 seconds).
3. After printer is finished "resetting", pull out one of the master disposal boxes (doesn't matter which one).
4. Press the "Protect" button again.
5. the screen should say "Protect = Off"
6. You're done and your machine should be un-locked now.

Screen reads PROTECT

That is a mode designed to protect the amplifier from damage.
Common causes of this are heat, incompatible Ohm level of speakers, or a short on the chassis or terminals.

What does write protect mean in the screen

most camera data cards have a 'write protect' slide switch on the side of them, which if it is in the 'write protect' mode, nothing can modify, or put new files onto it.
Basically what it's telling you is that you can't take pictures with that card until you pop it out and slide the switch to an 'unlock' or 'non-write-protect' position.

"protect" on the screen

Protect mode will kicking whenever a fault is detected.

Causes that can start protect mode are:

Electrostatic harges on internal circuits.
Leave the unit unplugged for power for one hour or so, this will allow discharge.

Bad speaker wiring.
Check speaker wiring, try unplugging and plugging back, or start after removing one speaker at the time.

Internal fault.
Internal fault is the natural cause for protect mode. If all the above did not work, then the problem is a blown component or an internal fault. In this case the unit must be taken apart , tested and repaired by an experienced person.
If the unit is less than one year old, or if you want to get service, call Sony at the phone number listed on the product documentation.

Regards.

It says protect on the front screen

An amplifier goes into protect when it detects a load with too low an impedance. If it displays protect with no speakers connected at all, the amplifier is damaged. If not, reconnect speakers one at a time (while the amp is off!) to determine the cause of the fault.

It may be as simple as a single strand of copper wire shorting between the positive and negative terminals of a connection.

Screens

virginia, go here, www.wehaveparts.com they will sell you the screen(s) your set may have a protect screen on the front & it may not, there are 3 screens when the set has the "protect screen", then theres the lenticular screen and behind that is the fresnel lens (screen), the second two are expensive and so is the s&h so be prepared for a high dollar fix if your set doesn`t have the "protect screen", You will have to take the front of the set apart to determine how many you have (which will determine which one you need), good luck, BMW Rider
