Question about Kenwood KDC-MP2035 CD Player
We bought a Stingray Motor Boat. After receiving the boat, we saw that the receiver-mp3 player is suitable for USA not for Europe (fm stations are broadcasting 0.2 mhz frequency difference in States but in europe this is 0.05 mhz) so we can not receive some stations like 88.2 mhz.
Is it possible to set up that feature?
I have a car stereo purchased from the US and I can’t pick up all radio stations in Europe/UK, what can I do?
If you have purchased a car stereo from the US you will find that it will not pick up many European radio stations. This is due to the fact that US radio frequency steps are different to here in Europe.
You may be able to set the tuner to European stations by following this procedure.
Press and hold down the SRC button to power down the unit completely.
While the unit is off press button 1 & 5 together, while momentarily pressing the SRC button.
If this does not work try the following proceedure;
Press and hold buttons 1 and 5 together, while momentarily pressing the reset button.
If this does not work then the unit is not designed to pick up European frequency steps.

Solution #1 did the lot!Pressing 1&5 and the SRC button while the radio is off did the trick!

Sorry to say, but as far as I can tell in the instruction manual you only have a band from 87.9 MHz to 107.9 MHz FM and no way of switching that. Good luck.

a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
