Question about Intel Motherboard

My computer is not turning on. I just wanted to know if it is a problem with the motherboard or simply the HD. When I press the turn on button, the computer turns on, the cooler works, but i can't see anything on the screen. If you could please tell me what to do, I would appreciate it. Clear the cmos, short the jumper and then open it again around the batery (on the condition of no electricity)
during boot up with keyb, vga, ram, proc, attached properly on the mainboard..watch closely for the led numlock..capslock..scroll lock..did the numlock led is on ? did the 3 led flash together very quick then off...? if no then, try to change the memory slot (leave the other blank)=>to check the cause is the slot or the memory or the fitting.
resit the vga...unplug your other card.
power up again, still problem?swap memory..if you have 2 memory..

Plz resit the ram,if problem is not solved then try by removing the cable from the monitor to cpu and check is there is any message or white screen in the monitor,if you get any thing then your monitor is ok,otherwise your monitor needs repairing.
If you get message in the monitor or the color changes then your motherboard display adapter needs to be repaired

With which button do i reach safe mode

During the boot process you will press F8 to bring up the safe mode menu. You want to press F8 after the computer posts and just before the windows screen comes up.

Also you cannot press F8 too many times so when in doubt just keep pressing F8 after you turn the computer on until the menu comes up.

This is what you should see if you have successfully pressed F8.

How to get into menu of American Megatrends Inc. P13 after windows already started?

Nope.

Need to get into the BIOS Setup utility, BEFORE Windows comes up.

Does go by pretty F-A-S-T, huh?

(And they're off...........they're neck and neck, and coming around turn 5...............it's Magic,....no it's Blackjack........no it's..........)

Do I assume you have the - enter BIOS Setup key?

OK.

AS SOON AS you press the Power On button, start tapping on that key.
Tap in 2 second intervals.

Hear beeps?
Ignore them. They are Stuck Key Error Code beeps, and it is you that is doing it.

Computer will not boot up. Press power button to turn on, fans whirl up to full speed, no power/hd lights, no screen display.

This sounds like a motherboard issue, but first swap out the ram one at a time, next remove the hard drive, if no change remove the video graphics card, "if detachable" disconnect any hardware that may load down the motherboard including the dvd driver, if after everything still no change the motherboard will need to be replaced.

Ram beep ok but no display

try reseting the bios using the jumper method. you should find a jumper near your cmos battery. turn your computer off, unplug the power cord. The jumper should be in position 12.. set it on ..23. Press power button with power cord still unplugged. Let it stay like this 1 or 2 minutes. Set the jumper back in position 12..., plug the power cord then turn your PC on. If this doesn't work, simply take out the cmos battery and stay with it like 3 minutes. Put it back in place, then turn your pc on.

I have pendrive with 32 gb. It was worked for 2 days only. Now its not recognizwd by windows. what can i do.

Considering that if the USB is fine and and working systems, here is simple solution! Simply UNPLUG YOUR COMPUTER FROM THE POWER SUPPLY. Yes that?s it! Note that this does not mean just turning off your computer because modern computers don?t really turn off when you press the power button as the motherboard still gets power. First to explain, the motherboard is where all of hardware of the computer is connected to, including the USB ports. Sometimes the motherboard needs to be ?rebooted? also because something can go wrong, i.e. all your USB ports suddenly stop working. The small microprocessor on the motherboard will reload the drivers and your USB ports should be back to recognizing all devices! So, first turn off your computer using Shut Down or pressing the power button and then UNPLUG it from the wall outlet. Remove the battery and press and hold down the Power Button of your laptop for a few seconds. Let it sit for about a minute and then plug it back in. Hope this helps someone fix that ?USB device not recognized? Windows error!

Otherwise if the USB is faulty you may claim the warranty as the USB Pendrives are usually under 10 months warranty cover.

Just purchased this motherboard, can't get bios to boot

just be sure...
take out everything, except the the power cable and the little speaker. try to turn it on. there will beep sounds. if not, the problem is the board. if there's sound, check connections.

also tell me the model of it, if possible.
after turning it on, check the power and hd leds, if they are on, or blinking.

check if hd and dvd are both jumpered as master. try removing both, just to try to get the bios working.

and one last thing, check it there's a intrusion jumper on board, if yes turn it off.
