First remove the power plug from the smps and press the power switch few time and wait for few minutes the re plug the power connector to the smps and switch on the computer if you still dont have power then you will have to check whether the smps work to test that its not enough to test the voltage in the 21/24 pin you will have to short the green wire and the black wire and see whether the smps fan is working if the fan is not working then the problem is with smps

Asus mobo flashes on startup, no video

You should unplug the power cord from the power supply, pop out the cmos battery, switch the bios reset jumper to the 2 and 3 pins, wait about a minute, put the jumper back to 1 and 2 pins, put cmos battery back in, plug in power cord to psu and turn on pc. If you have any issues with this process please refer to your owner manual for the motherboard or look one up on their website. Please let me know if this fixes your issue.

Mobo power

Hi,
There are jumpers on the motherboard,
check all jumpers are set correctly, as from the user manual, this could be a problem.

check all your front lights are wired properly
power button, reset switch, must be correct too.
double/treble check them before building it.

I have a P6N diamond board and cant tab to post or del to bios just hangs on mobo splash screen need helppppp

Normally this would indicate a problem with one of 5 main things. Ram, CPU, Video card, power supply or System board. One thing I would try is to reset the bios. Unplug the power cord from the computer and hit the power button. This will release any unspent power from the power supply. Pull the jumper off of the system board by the battery and switch it to the other jumpers and then back to the original settings so that you start out as if the board was fresh from the box. If you dont see the jumper for doing this you can also remove the battery and then put it back in to reset the bios. If that doesnt do it, try the ram. I dont know the specs on this board so if you are using a plug in video card try another one. There is ram on the card and it or the GPU can be bad. Finally (besides the system board or CPU) make sure that you have a power supply that will run everything correctly.
Hope this helps you narrow it down.

Either way will work! No worries, it is just a switch. Just think about it. A jumper wire would work as well, right?

Problems with m825g

STOP!! Don't do it!

The M825G uses the KM266 Pro and , if the BIOS is correct, auto detect the CPU and its speed. That BIOS has a built-in OC utility, and that is why the jumpers are disabled.

The odds are you have an incompatible core. Just because the CPU fits the socket, doesn't mean it can work with the MB/chipset.

Check this link for that MB just to make sure.
