Have just installed Windows 7 Ultimate and downloaded/installed the driver for Panasonic DP-C322. After successfully installing, I printed a test page that consisted of 100's of pages, some blank and...

The "test" output should have been one page.

If the printer properly interpreted the data-stream that it received, it _would_ have generated just that one page. However, if the printer is not "interpreting" the data-stream, but instead is printing it, character-for-character, then you could have gotten the mountain of output that you got.

Turn the printer off. Turn the printer on. Try again to print your own, small, "test" page.

It sounds like your black (K) or Black/Yellow (KY) head needs to be replaced.
The problem appears to be in the top half of the black head.
Without knowing more (like what make/model the printer is) I can't help more than that.

Samsung clp-315 printer stops printing after half page

You'll probably have to replace the exit sensor (lots of people have this problem). Go to YouTube and watch this video: 5fJHykzkfww

You can get the part on eBay for about $10 and it's a fairly simple 15 minute fix.

We are setting up new TallyGenicom LA800. However, printout has dot or period in between each characters printed. Hence, a single row info is printed on two rows. What seems to be the problem?

It would be strange for the printer to print dot between each printed character without this coming from the system.
As a check the first thing I would recomend doing would be to print a self test print on the printer, you can do this easiest by printing a menu print.
To print a menu print put the pritner OFFLINE
Press SETUP
Press the button under MENU
Press the button under PRINT.
The printer should print out its configuration page, if this has dots between each character then this defiantly means you have printer problems.
You can try defaulting the pritner back to factory settings, this is down by holding down the four buttons (1, 2, 3 & 4) under the LCD display whilst powerind the printer on.

If the menu prints OK, then there is some sort of other strange system or communication problem.
If the pritner is connected via serial, check the serial settings on the pritner also chack the pin configuration of the connector used to print to the printer.

Try printing from another system or application to identify what might be causing the problem for example an application or driver problem, perhaps try printing from a PC directly to the pritner to check the interface on the printer is OK.

Check the emulation setting on the pritner ensure this is correct.

My printer is only printing half of the page

half page? just half top page (top-bottom), or left and right. If just left half page, set page setup as actually paper wide that inserted. because, if actually paper wide is smaller than page setup, some epson printer jsut print half. before starting printing, the paper sensor measure paper wide first.

This can cause print-quality problems during printing. Cleaning the printer eliminates or reduces these problems. Cleaning the printer eliminates or reduces these problems. Use the following steps to clean the paper path and print-cartridge areas: 1. Turn the printer off and unplug the power cord. 2. Open the top cover. Figure 1: Top cover opened example 3. Remove the print cartridge. Figure 2: Print cartridge removed example CAUTION: To prevent damage to the print cartridge, do not expose it to light for more than a few minutes.Be careful not to touch the transfer roller (the black, rubber roller located underneath the print cartridge). Skin oils on the roller can cause print-quality problems. 4. With a dry, lint-free cloth, wipe any residue from the paper path area and the print cartridge cavity. Make sure not to touch the transfer roller with fingers, as the oil can contaminate the roller, resulting in print quality defects. Figure 3: Paper path area and print cartridge cavity example 5. The cleaning procedure takes about 2.5 minutes to complete. A message (either CREATING CLEANING PAGE or CLEANING) appears on the printer control panel display while the cleaning is taking place. NOTE: Use plain paper to print the cleaning page. Please note that this is a two-step process. First print out the cleaning page using the following directions, then follow the directions on the cleaning page itself to reinsert it back into the printer to perform the cleaning. Use the following steps to run the cleaning page: 1. If the printer model includes a duplexer, open the rear output bin. 2. Press example(Select button) to open the menus. 3. Use example (Up button) or example (Down button) to scroll to CREATE CLEANING PAGE, and then press example (Select button). 6. Perform the following to complete the cleaning process. 1. Remove all paper from Tray 1. 2. Use example (Up button) or example (Down button) to scroll to CONFIGURE DEVICE and then press example (Select button). 3. Use example (Up button) or example (Down button) to scroll to PRINT QUALITY and then press example (Select button). 4. Use example (Up button) or example (Down button) to scroll to PROCESS CLEANING PAGE and then press example (Select button). 5. Load the cleaning page created in step 5 above into Tray 1 with the print side down and the arrow towards the printer. 7. If the printer model includes a duplexer, close the rear output bin. Let me know if that helped. Good luck, Tim
