Problem for Sony PlayStation 2 Slimline Console

Disc doesnt spin , the lens dont move up and down , only lights red

have problem with PS2 slim . Doesnt read disc . I have opened cover ,
replaced the laser , removed the solder.
The lens only lights red , no movement .
I have replaced the laser , but its the same , lens doesnt move up and down,
no spining with disc . Whats wrong ?

- The snake motor works well , the laser moves , but the lens alone dont move, the lens should move closer to dvd layer or
less closer, in order to read .But this is not happening.???

- I have tried another laser with LASER DECK , with another
ribon to laser , but its always the same....

Sounds like a motor issue, not a laser issue.

Try to replacement the ribbon cable of laser. and make sure you clean the lens.
