Games wont load. No red ring and everything else looks ok

- understand the different light codes
Green-green lights indicate that console is powered and operating properly
1 red light-Hardware fault. Usually followed by E74 code on TV
2 red lights-overheating error. If the console becomes too hot, the system will shut down and display this light code
3 red lights-general hardware failure also known as the red ring of *****
4 red lights-AV cable isnt currently plugged in

If you do get red ring of *****:
- purchase a fix kit
-have console professionally fixed
-have console sent in to microsoft
-Prevent red ring of *****-understand what causes hardware failure
-keep your system in a well ventilated area
- avoid long gaming sessions
-keep system horizontal
-avoiding stacking items on xbox
-clean gaming area
-dust xbox

ok first 360: its probably a rrod(red ring of death) rrod is well known. but lets get to the point. 2 red lights means ur 360 mother board is just dead, because of the heat pad observance . this soaks up the heat it will break down ur gps, which breaks down the whole thing.

Solution for first 360: spend a couple of bucks to get it repaired( which will last for a good 5 moths), or the infamous towel wrap trick.

they game may be damaged or your laser to read games may be to low. if you look on the disc and has a big ring around it justtake it to get it fixed and if the laser is to low go take it to get it fixed. :)

hello you've got ring of death you can try this get a towel rap it around the xbox turn power leave it for 15 minutes the take the towel off cool down for 15 minutes should be ok good luck

no you still have a warranty microsoft extended there warranty due to console problems so call up xbox talk to max. and the warranty ends 2010

ok, im so sorry to tell you this but i heard that if the ring on your xbox 360 is red its having a meltdown and its totally broken. my friends xbox did that and he had to get a new one

Which three lights? if its Top Left, Bottom Left, Bottom Right, then you have the infamous "Red Ring of Death." witch means general hardware failure. If you search around on the internet, there are some Xbox360 modding sites that sell kits to repair this kind of problem (if youre brave enough to tackle it).

Luckily Microsoft is aware of this problem and has extended thier warranty to 3yrs (but ONLY if you have this particular problem).

Otherwise you'd have to send it into Microsoft to get it repaired.

Ok I had the same problem try this if this doesn't solve your problem call Microsoft.

First, Unplug everything including harddrive.

Next, Wait thirty seconds.

Then, Plug everything even harddrive.

Finally, Try it out see if it works. If it doesn't call Microsoft.
