If above does not work, you may have to format the memory card (use quick format), and then use above mentioned software to scan again the memory card and recover your files.
try using a pc with card reader / writer to format the memory stick pro duo and then try it again in camera it should work........If you have troubles formatting the same using a PC as well check if gets detected as removable disk and then try using a antivirus to scan it and if you find any virus, remove it first and then format it. it should then work.............

1:friend connect the mobile to the PC and select mass storage option go to my computer and right click on the memory card Icon click on format select full format option . the above solution will solve your problem if the error is coming because of bad-sector 2:some times these error comes if there is a code to THE memory card.

For all the camera users whose cameras won't format...they can't accept all the info on a 2 gb memory card... install a 1 gb card...worked like a charm for me! C315 and others were made before the 2 gb card. Only 1 gb cards work in the older cameras.
