Question about Sony UP DR100 Thermal Photo Printer
I just got my refurbished printer and tried to hook it up. When I connect the power cord to the outlet and turn the printer on, the printer turns on.
But as soon as I connect the printer and the computer through
the provided SCSI cable, the printer TURNS OFF.
I tried different power outlets, thinking that might be the case, but it
keeps doing the same thing.
How can I solve this problem? My first job is next Saturday and I really need the printer to work.. I'm about to cry..
Hi you are connecting it to the wrong port you are probably using the printer port and you need a scsi port the printer is just shuting off so that it won't cause damage to yourself one you change the connection the printer, after having it unplugged for atleast 5 minute will start up and stay on just fine Good Luck
