Question about Intel D101GGC Motherboard
My computer has been working fine for more than 2 years. Suddenly my cpu fan started going really fast, like even when no memory is being used. It just keeps on spinning really fast. I opened the case and checked for dust and used air compressed can to clean up an dust on my mobo or the heatsink. When its really hot and humid( I live in ottawa, Canada) the speed of cpu fan keeps on increasing until it once reached 2900 rpm and i just shut off the computer. One thing i noticed that one of the sensors named "Remote" is showing 98-100 C. i use speedfan software. It could be because of that but i am not sure. Would changin my fan solve the problem? if yes where do i buy it? thx a lot for your help!
Intel celeron 3.06 Ghz
1 Gb ram
ati radeon 200 xpress
i have only one air suply fan at the back and the heatsink which is causing noise problems. Everything else works fine, akk the programs inside.
