Can not install CD for my Mp3 player

Hello,

I am trying to install the CD for my Innovage USB Digital MP3 Player and Voice Recorder. I have an Acer powered by Vista and every time I try to install the Windows Installer Package from the disc, the Window's Installer tells me "The System Administor has set policies to prevent this installation." I read somewhere that I need Windows Media Player 10 or 11 for this. I have one more recent than that. I tried to download Windows Media Player 11 from the Microsoft website, but it wouldn't let me because I already have a Window's Media Player, but I was not able to uninstall the Windows Media Player that is already on my computer becasue I did not have "permission". Please help!! Not sure what numbers will identify this but I see: 128MB and FC Innovag 1603977.

You are probably signed on as a "guest" - every computer running windows XP or higher (Vista included) considers every user as a "guest" or an "administrator". Restart your computer, and sign in as an administrator. I don't know how computer saavy you are, but my real name is "Cor-y K-o-t-g-n" (I left out letters on purpose to protect my identity), so the login account that I created for myself when I upgraded to Windows XP was named Cor-y K-e-t-g-n- I also assigned it as an administrator account. My firends/family that use the computer are "guests" - if they log in to their particular names, they can use the computer, but they cannot install new software. I hope this helps a little.

Do I need a startup disk to use my player?

Delstar is a USB mp3 player and you don't need any statup disk. Maybe it came originally with a CD as help to intall USB port on windows 98SE
If it won't work simply inserting it in your USB port check if it's blocked by lock but I believe it has no lock so if won't work, it is DEAD.

My sakar dicital music palyer voice recorder wont play the music i downloaded onto the file

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. You can download mp3 music files from the Internet toyour computer and then copy them to your MP3 player. For your CD collection, you need to convert your CDs tomp3 music files onto your computer or download them from the Internet and thencopy them to your MP3 player after you have connected the USB cable tothe MP3 player and the computer.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player willcreate a MP3 music file for each music track.Click on this link for instruction on converting musicfiles to mp3 file format :- http://www.fixya.com/support/r5798418-creating_transferring_mp3_music_files
