If you have run games befor off your memory stick it could be your memory stick or the psp that is broken. however if you are trying for the 1st time. you cant run games of the memory stick without putting the game in the right format aswell as the memory stick. The psp also has to have the right software on so that it can run games of a memory stck.
you must have to clean the memory stick slot connector or could be a cracked solder point in the slot pin conectors...it´s internal...you will need to disassemble it...try to test another memory stick...
have you tried using your memory stick to other units or computer?
1. if its not working it might be damage.
2. but if its working your memory slot in your psp has the problem then look for a technician that could fix your psp slot for memory stick.
i can see that your memory stick and the psp memory slot is not connecting with each other.. hope it help. for more concerns send as a message
is your PSP modified/CFW? if not it wont play cso or iso games. When u formatted your memory stick it will create ISO folder in the root of the memory stick. you said you created the folder, sounds to me that your not using CFW. this wont work.
If your using CFW/modified then format your memory stick using format option of your psp. Copy the cso/iso files to the ISO folder and that should work.
Yes, what you need to do here is to format first the memory stick , using the format option on your new PSP because the memory stick should be synch first to the new PSP and make sure that the firmware of the new PSP can play ISO and CSO games, so after you format the memory stick try to load the game back and hopefully the firmware of the new PSP is a custome firmware that can play those kind of games...
well, to run games on a memory stick you must have a certain psp hooked up to where you can play games on your memory stick, buying a psp from the store won't let you play games from the memory stick, you must buy a psp game,, im sorry
All things are fixable. Try going into recovery mode. This is done by Pressing and holding the R button when powering up the PSP. You then can press the brightness control button to see the firmware. This might help you reboot the PSP. If it is worst than this, you may consoder sending it back to Sony for repair, although they usually do not want to fix a Squooshed PSP. I would not tell them you Sat on it. You can call SONY support at 1-800-345-7669.
If you cannot get them to Repair it, you can check out my website, www.Playstationclinic.com . I can fix it for a very reasonable price.
