Makes annoying crackling noises from intrument panel

Hi, my LG oven has been making an annoying crackling sound from the back of the intrument panel almost since we got it. It's fairly intermittent but becoming more frequent. I should have done something during the warranty but didn't. Any ideas what could be happening? This thing cost way too much to sound like a hunk of junk. It seems be coming from the back where it plugs into the circuit board somewhere. Everything works fine other than that. I have all LG appliances and have had problems with all of them. Probably wouldn't buy again, but the look cool.

I have a vintage Hardwick gas stove squealing sound coming from the range when oven has been on? Thought it might be the clock/timer.... can't tell and very annoying? Thoughts?

It could be your clock when the clock gets old the clock motor can start sqeaking. It is unusual if it only does it when the oven is on but perhaps it is heating up and then starts to make noise. the only other thing I can think of is your oven safety valve may be not opening completly and causing a whistle.

Oven does not "burn" steadily when set below 300 degrees.

Sounds like you have a bad oven ignitor and oven burner tube. install a Amperage meter on one of the oven ignitor wire, It should draw above 3 AMPS, if it is below then you have a bad oven ignitor, or just change the oven ignitor to see if it makes any difference. Have fun.

Lg oven not workink

You may wish to try removing and re-seting some of the connectors on the back of the control panel...worked for me when our oven and timers stopped working.....

Remove the sheet metal panel at the top of the back of the oven..three phillips screws....then slide the two blue ribbon, wire connectors out, and re-seat them a few times to get a good connection.

Try to un-seat and re-seat some of the others aswell...perhaps un-plug from the wall first....but make sure there is good connections....then re-plug in, and see what happens...

Heard popping noise and circuit to stove blew. could not set time or oven temp when reset breaker

Hi
Sounds like your oven heater failed. Not sure if its a fan oven or static type. If you hear a fan inside the oven then its classed as a fan oven

some kind of wiring/control issue, although it may be the thermostat in the oven making the noise and needs to be replaced

Oven not working -makes a buzzing sound when turned OFF!

You just need to adjust your door latch assm. Try putting a little oil on the latch and arm. The sound you hear is the solenoid trying to pull the latch arm all the way back to lock the door. Even though it is pulling the arm back and the door locks it may not be all the way back. A little lubrication will fix the problem.
