Question about Mitsubishi WS-65513 65" Rear Projection HDTV

Thanks for the rapid response...I noticed that my particular model # is not mentioned in that Mitsubishi DM repair kit (WS-65713)

Will it still work for me ya think?

Just leave them an email with your model number and they will post the correct kit for your model then send you an email, they have an extensive inventory and they dont list all their parts untill they have a request for them.

Thats a very common problem caused by weak caps on the DM board when power is lost they drain and then cannot recharge when the power is restored the WS55511 DM repair kit from www.tvrepairworld.com will usually solve that issue. The kit contains the caps and the cd with instructions.

How do i locate the dm. the problem stated above is exactly whats going on. i get green blinking light steady with nothing else. someone also mentioned bypassing timer, and it will work?

The DM board is located in the sheilded box to the left side of the unit looking from the rear. You have to disassemble most of the unit to get to it. I have a tip at http://www.fixya.com/support/r7065906-mitsubishi_turn_flashing_power_timer which explains the problem and where to get a board repair kit to repair the unit. The same company has excellent installation instructions.

Thats a common problem most likley caused by failed capacitors on the DM and the power board. You can get the V26 Chassis DM / Power repair kit from www.tvrepairworld.com which contains the capacitors and the CD with instructions for the repair.

This problems is the DM power board have many dead capacitors.U must have soldering iron and solders.U must know to do basic soldering.Try website like Tvrepairworld.com to buy a DM power board capacitors repair kit.Must replaced all those dead capacitors,will solved this problems.

My mitsubishi wd-62528 has a constant rapid green blinking light on timer and wont go out. had lamp replaced and reset but wont even come on.

these capacitors are not dangerous but, be sure you install them exactly as you removed them for, if they are installed backward you have a firecracker when you power them up

you can get the repair kit which contains the replacement capacitors and the CD which includes detailed photos that show and explain how to do the repair, and the cD even contains the full service manual with full schematics manual as a bonus. This could be bad caps on the "DM" board. To confirm this though, can you count the blinks please and post here?
