Screen flashes white then comes back to normal

You have a defective graphics cable - the cable that goes from *********** board to the back of your TFT screen. Requires a tech to rectify

White screen means that your lamp (back light) is working absolutely fine, but you could have a loose connection for the data ribbon cable, which sends the images to the monitor.
Carefully open laptop to reach its lcd, there must be ribbon cable which looks like this:
It is very sensitive so be very careful with that, very gently remove this from the chip and reconnect it.

well, i guess, the phone fails to load it's software or firmware. anyway, if you don't know how to flash your phone, and you don't have the back up firmware for it, go to your nearest service center and have it reflashed. at least there, you can rest assure that they will give you the appropriate firmware for your phone.

the firmware needs to be flash into teh phone take the phone to a mobile service center and have it fix.

Re group ! Why play with a phone thats not even on??

1. Upon startup lens emerges but when screen appears it is white whereas it normally displays whatever the lens sees. When the shutter button is pressed the camera will focus and take a white picture which can be deleted. The camera does not flash although flash is set to automatic and photo taken in a dark room. Camera flashes (weakly) with flash set to manual on. Lens is unobstructed and appears to be perfectly normal. Camera was not dropped. Batteries have been changed.

blankenship, the "IK circuit" is blanking your screen, only "fix" is temporary, remove back of tv, and on rear right side (facing into the back of the set) you can see 2 philips type plastic screws mounted on the flyback transformer, one is focus the other is screen, do not adjust focus , turn screen control clockwise slowly until you get white retrace lines on screen, then turn counterclockwise until retrace lines disappear, this increases drive from tube to IK circuit, will last anywhere from 6 months to 18 months and then it`s replacement time, questions? e-mail me back. good luck, BMW Rider

What are normal things like text files and the desk top like? If it only photos that are problematical then it won't be the screen. Have a check around the system and a little think through- them come back
