This may be because the closed caption bulletin board feature may be turned on. Go in to the user menu, and see how to turn off the closed captioning. You may need to refer to the user guide. If you need the closed captioning, you will have to find the proper mode to put it in.

My husband bought me your DVD Recorder Model No. DMR-EH75V for Christmas in 2006. It worked with my analog TV and a COMCAST cable box. In April 2007, I bought an Olevia HD TV and changed to a Verizon...

Hi,

Due to certain limitations of the Panasonic DMR-EH75V, it can only accommodate composite Video INput and give composite Video OUTput as well as the standard Audio L/R. Additionally, if your Verizon FIOS HD cable box has an RF OUT, that can also be connected to the RF/CABLE IN of the Panasonic.

Please refer to the simplified diagram below.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Viera tc-32lx600 when power is turned on the screen goes from solid red to solid green to solid blue to solid white to solid black and then repeats. the sound works and you can change channels but stays in

Reset this TV. To do this, you have to enter its service mode options. Visit the site named 'Electro-help' for more details. Check this link and select the site. View it in 'Flip card' option, which can be selected from the drop down box menu at the left top corner or the display window. It will make search easy. Some times, the ads attached with each posts might help you to find the availability of spare parts. There are more than 550 posts to different brand TVs.

When changing channels----Big black square appears on screen

turn off the closed captions or select c1 to view the captions. Right now they are set for text and that is what is causing the black box to appear

A black box pops up on the screen and just leaves the border area around the box available for viewing. It only happens on a few channels at a time and seems to alternate as to what channels are affected,...

MRS3309,
It sounds as though the closed captioning has some how gotten turned on. Not all programs are closed caption supported so the box will not show on every channel nor will it necessarily be on the same channel all day. Go into the menu on the tv and ensure the CC option is turned off. You may have to go into set up or preferences to locate the CC portion of the menu. I hope this assists you and thank you for using Fix Ya. If I can assist you further please let me know.

Black box appears in TV screen

The problem with the black box happened to me. I had pushed the subtitle button on my remote by mistake. Interestingly enough, as soon as I pushed the SUBTITLE key again, on the remote, the black boxes disappeared.

It also says CC which means closed captioned-- So the bottom on my remote is Subtitle, and then on the subtitle button is cc...

I hope this helps
