Question about Sirius Sportster 4 SP4-TK1 Satellite Radio Receiver with Car Kit
My sirius radio started giving me a "no antenna" message, in addition to the usual "acquiring signal" message. Although I have worked through every possibility of the antenna being somehow disconnected (it is not) this message seems to come completely at random, but now, more and more frequently...
BTW, I keep my unit plugged into its dock and even have a securing screw in it to keep it from moving in and out, so I don't think the dock connection is worn out.
Does the message mean anything besides an actual disconnection of the antenna? Anything else I can do? The unit is less than a year old. -Chuck noantenna message when connected

It could be the wire that connects from the actual antenna and the radio. Even if it is new it might just be wrong from the factory.
