Question about Creative Labs ZEN V Plus MP3 Player
I've had my Zen since October 2007, and I've had the usual problems with it such as freezing/crashing, etc.
But the sound was working fine up until this morning, when I noticed the songs were playing in mono [that is, all of the sound was coming through one headphone and nothing out the other, instead of equalizing the sound through both]. At first I thought it was the headphones, but this was not the case. I have tried several pairs and even my speakers, but the device is still playing in mono.
My warranty has expired and I can't afford a new one. Any hope for me? Is this problem fixable, or is my Zen doomed for eternity?

Simplest solution, from experience: make sure your headphone jack is pushed all the way into Zen 3.5 output jack. Sometimes it will feel like it's clicked in but you need a little extra push to get it all the way in.
Another thing to look at: I pretty sure the is a preference setting that controls right/left balance (my son has my Zen right now). If you can find this control, it could be set all the way to one or the other side.
Give it a try, or see if resetting zen helps.
