Question about Zephyr Typhoon AK2100 Kitchen Hood
Another solution...I think I have the same hood, and the bulb has a flat face and is nearly flush with the unit.
I use one of those rubber mats that help you get a grip on a tight jar lid. The bulb has just enough exposed rim that I can get a grip and make that hard first untwist.

Use a large ammount of bluetack on the glass - and wear leather gloves for safety.
Look closely at the replacement bulb to check the type of fitting.
Halogens with point pins pull straight out. Thicker mushroom pins turn anticlockwise before dropping out.
Edison screws obviously unscrew anticlockwise.
If the above method fails for straight pin versions, wrap string around the body of bulb and pull out using string.
Hope this helps
