First, try shutting down your computer and restarting. This should clear the print queue, which might have become "confused". You can also turn off the printer to eliminate any stray print job that might be remaining in it's memory.

Lexmark 4800 wireless printer...when printing from a laptop the print is smudged

You aren't giving a lot of details here, but let's try a couple of things to see if we can clear this up. I am working from the assumption that you are talking about wireless printing, and am going to recommend that you try a test page with the laptop hooked to the printer by the USB cable. Are the results the same? If so, is the print clear when you print a test page from the printer's own maintenance menu? If so the problem is either the paper (moisture content) or the way in which the paper is being presented to the print head (possibly rubbing it a bit - again not enough info one the problem). If the smudging only occurs when printing from the laptop, be certain that you have the correct drivers installed.

Cannot print correctly from the internet it will only print the code but will print from my documents fine.

You'll find that you have to select (highlight) copy and then paste it to say, a word file. Now about the only way you can accurately print something from the internet is if you see Printer Friendly- or print from copy.
If you have never copied and pasted before this is very useful...Select what you want to copy, right click and you see the word copy...now as long as you don't right click again it will stay just as you selected it. Now go to Word, word pad, note pad, almost and thing with a blinking cursor, open it and right click again and choose Paste this time and what ever you copied will be displayed. Very useful commands,
Good choice on printers, I have a photosmart 1000 and it still works like new.
Hope you can follow my jibberish.
Please leave a rating, thank you kindly

I bought a Dell inspiron - 1526 computer. It says my Lexmark P4350 printer is compatible. It shows it is installed with the driver on my hard drive. I can't get it to show up when I need to choose a...

First go to control panel, and see if you can print a test page from the printers list (Right click the printer, properties, print test page button)

If you can't print a self-test, the disconnect the printer, uninstall the drivers, reboot, download the latest driver from support.lexmark.com, connect printer when prompted during drive install.

If you can print a self-test, then right click the printer icon, and click set as default, then reopen you application and try printing again

I am running Microsoft Word 2003 and have an HP 1320n printer. My problem is that when I print more than 1 copy the pages do not collate even if the collate box is ticked in the print dialogue book and so...

HP 1320 print driver is a universal print driver covering several printer models.  Collating only works on HP printers if you have a multiple exit tray system for commercial based laser printers similar to finishers on a copier.  They have to have room to keep the copier together before they can be collated.  On a standard configured 1320 there lacks any space for finishing tasks.

My printer wont stop printing from my computer when the page is finished, keeps going no matter what i do.

Maybe you need to clear the printer query. Then do like a print preview where you'll set up the print settings. Make sure only the # of copies you want is showing.
Is it printing the same print job over and over or pages you didn't select?

After installing the new ink, it will print a paper for U. put that paper in the scanner and press scan. It's a self-calibration. If that's not the problem, please state what the problem is.

When i go to print smthing the page keeps printing

Hi,

May be you have to set the printer to print one page only.

Usually this occurs because of the nmber of prints mntiond or it is selected as continuosly pint.

Changing the number of copies to one will solve the problem.

Good Luck.
