The GPS device should have a numeric passcode to do the pairing such as 0000 or 1234 - this should be displayed on the GPS device's screen. Using your phone, click on the recently discover GPS device and it should ask you to enter the passcode - the one displayed on the GPS. After entering the passcode and most likely pressing accept or something similar, the pair should be initiate and we should receive a message on the phone said it was completed. The above solution might vary slightly based on the model of your phone and the GPS device.
You can use the default 4 digit passcode which is '0000",just ensure you enter the same passcode on the other bluetooth device(a phone) which you are pairing with,but if its an earpiece device,simply type in the passcode and wait for the device to pair automatically with your phone.

By pairing your KU990 and another device, you can set up a passcode protected connection. This means your pairing is more secure. 1 Check your Bluetooth is On and Visible. You can change your visibility in the Settings menu. 2 Touch Paired Devices then New. 3 Your KU990 will search for devices. When the search is completed Refresh and Add will appear on screen. 4 Choose the device you want to pair with and enter the passcode then touch OK. 5 Your phone will then connect to the other device, on which you should enter the same passcode. 6 You passcode protected Bluetooth connection is now ready.
Using a Bluetooth headset 1 Check your Bluetooth is On and Visible. 2 Follow the instructions that came with your headset to place your headset in pairing mode and pair your devices. 3 Touch Yes to Connect now. Your KU990 will automatically switch to Headset profile.

to pair your bluetooth first, turn the bluetooth feature on your phone to on.
Next, hold the call button on your bluetooth until the light begins flashing blue and red, this means it it in paring mode.
Third, find the 2XXplantronics device in your bluetooth options. Select this divice and enter the passcode (0000).
You are now finished and the bluetooth is paired.
