Tips for a great answer:
Jun 14, 2013 | Acer Aspire 7520-5185 Laptop
Feb 21, 2013 | Toshiba Satellite L25-S121 Notebook
Sep 24, 2011 | Toshiba Computers & Internet
Mar 12, 2011 | Toshiba Satellite A45-S250 Notebook
Restart the laptop and try logging back in using the new password.
Log on without the Windows XP installer. If you don't have a Windows bootable CD, use another computer with internet access so you can create an emergency recovery disk (ERD) that will allow you to unlock a Toshiba laptop. Browse through the internet and search for ERD software.
Burn the ERD program into the blank CD and use it to reboot the Toshiba laptop that you want to unlock. The computer will automatically detect the program, so it will take you to a series of prompts where you can change your password.
