Scanner A3USB is not recognizing in vista. What should i do to fix this problem.

Make sure the device is not plugged into the computer during the drivers install. After all the files are installed plug the device into the computer. DO NOT PLUG DEVICES INTO "FRONT" USB PORTS ON THE COMPUTER AS THESE ARE "HUB" PORTS AND the system may not "see" the device.

download drivers by clicking here ---> web.EXE
install them then plug in the scanner when it tells you to

I want to install the driver of my scanner Mustek 1200 UB, for xp, please help me

First, go to:
http://www.mustek.com/mustek/supportdrivers.php
Under "Category," select "SCANNER."
Under "Series," select "USB Port."
Under "Model," select "1200 UB."
Driver installation instructions for XP/Win98/SE will be shown.
For Windows XP, there are 5 separate files you will have to download (the instructions tell you this).
Also note: "Make sure the device is not plugged into the computer during the drivers install. After all the files are installed plug the device into the computer. DO NOT PLUG DEVICES INTO "FRONT" USB PORTS ON THE COMPUTER AS THESE ARE "HUB" PORTS AND the system may not "see" the device."
Good Luck!

Driver download

Dear Sami Kotaich,

unfortunately your Cannon has not released drivers for vista for this product.

I can give you one suggestion; connect your scanner with vista PC and atleast let it try to install necessary USB drivers. once it has been done you will see message your hardware installed or there was a problem installing drivers for your hardware and it may not work properly.

now leave scanner connected and go in start menu- programs- accessories- paint

once you are in paint click on File Menu then From Scanners or Cameras. if it does recognize and you get scan wizard then you will be able to use your scanner on vista. but if it doesn't recognize then I am sorry you might need to get more authentic recommendation from Cannon support.

let me know does it work or not? or if any more questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Many Thanks.

AJoshi

The trick to installing any USB device is to load the driver first then plug in the device.

The driver is located here:

HELP! my computer cannot locate my scanner

When you downloaded the driver, did you make sure it was for the specific moder scanner that you have?

From the control pannel of your computer make sure that you added the cannon driver to the computer, you have to select
( ) cannon driver. I tmust be the spacific model name and number on your scanner.

The scanner must be on, so you can start test scanning . Why is not ON?

Finally after you done this avobe, If it doesn't work, the problem might be the cables.

What is your operating system?

If XP, check your device manager to see if the scanner is being recognized by XP.

What is your scanning software?
Try to use another scan program ( a free demo version should work fine.)

Are you using TWAIN or an ISIS driver? If it is a TWAIN driver, then any Photo editing program should be able to connect ( usuallly!?).

THE PROPER WAY ON INSTALLING USB DEVICES A. Enable usb ports on the BIOS. 1. Do not plug in your device right away. Install all drivers and software first! 2. Reboot 3. Plug the power or turn on your USB Device 4. Plug in the USB Port. 5. Windows Will detect the Device Automatically. Finish! Hope this helps.
