Some accessories designed for previous iPods and older iPhone models will not function correctly or in some cases at all with your iPhone, there is not much to be done for this problem other than trying a different accessory. This usually happens when the camera in the iPhone isn't working correctly.My advice would be to take the iPhone apart and clean with Isopropyl Alcohol and a soft Q-Tip the plug between the camera and the board. If this doesn't work try getting a new replacement camera on ebay. Good Luck!

Why wont iphone communicate with the ipod station
Have you made sure that there is no protective case on your iPhone that would be interrupting the connection between the two devices? Have you verified that your device is compatible with the dock? On most of the new ones they require a digital input from the iPod/iPhone which only iPods made in the past few years (2007 or later) can supply. Also try docking your device when the docking station is in standby mode.

Sure, which ever accessory you are trying to use with your iPhone is not compatible. As Apple releases new products, many of their older accessories become not compatible with the new models. Sadly, you will most likely have to replace your old accessory so it works on this version of the iPhone.

Yoy could try blowing some compressed air at the doc connector at the bottom of the iphone . There could be some dust or small particles confusing your phone into thinking something is connected.

Hi there I have bought a panasonic Sc-sp100 docking station for my iPhone, I bought this expensive one as I thought I was paying for the quality. The problem is when I dock my iPhone 4 a message pops up...
I think some docking stations do not work with Iphone3 + as the hardware has been changed by Apple. Thye warned all manufacturers about this but many ignored it! There is not solution other than to buy a station that specifically says that it will play Iphone3 +.

Youtube not working
The youtube app on the phone is provided by the network (original provider of the phone) so unless t-mobile provide that (and other services) you can't use it... but you can connect to the normal youtube by using safari it just wont be optimised for the iphone like the app is
