Windows Vista Compatability

Is there a version of a usb driver for the Pentax Opito33L that is compatible with Windows Vista? I don't have the original CD that came with the camera.

Thanks.

Optio 33L and Vista

Plug camera into USB port using the cable supplied, and switch the camera on. Computer will display the "found new hardware" sign, and ask you to insert the disk that came with the 33L into the disk drive. That done, the drivers will be installed in the usual manner. AT LEAST, THAT'S HOW I DID IT - AND IT WORKS!

Hp officejet 5610v all-in-one will not print jobs that are showing ready the error says no computer connection refer to device documentaion i have vista

Have you checked the compatability of your printer with your OS? Here is the listing, I dont see your printer: http://www.iexbeta.com/wiki/index.php/Windows_Vista_RTM_Hardware_Compatibility_List#Printers_and_Scanners_3

You could go to www.hp.com/support and see if there is a driver or further information there for your printer.

If your printer is really compatable with Vista, I suggest you get the latest version of the driver for Vista, then delete the printer from the printer folder and reinstall the new driver.

If you don't find the driver @ the Windows Vista HCL or at the HP/support page, it is not likely you will find it anywhere.

Needs USB-MIDI Driver For WK 110 Piano for Windows 7(64 Bit)

Here is tie official site for the driver ... http://driverwhiz.com/drivers-en?brand=Casio&logo=Casio&subid=1001-us-en-10000000394&gclid=COT9m4uGhKACFdx05QodUT3Zkw

Evidently Casio has not written drivers for Windows 7/64 if I understand your comment. I am not that familiar with 7 but I do know in past versions, Windows has offered "compatability mode" so older devices might work with newer operating systems. Have you explored this possibility?

Here are the options I see:

Look for compatability mode on your new computer.

Ask Casio for a driver.

(I'm not a big fan of third party drivers - maybe you are - you can look for a third party driver)

Continue to operate your WK 110 using a 32 bit computer.

Usb rec. comes up yellow,in device manager

The device driver is needed, right click on the yellow and go to properties, then select update driver. Install the cd rom that came with the device in your computer cd rom drive. If the driver cannot be installed, compatability issue or you just don`t have it, then what you would have to do is try the device web site for an updated driver for your operating system, if you don`t know the maker of the device then your only chance is to do windows update, do all of them and hope windows can find a compatible driver for it. If you are running windows 7 32 bit you might be in luck, if you have 64 bit version, you might be out of luck for now, but keep trying.

The best way to use is to get a free program from Adobe website or Kodak. That can transfer your pictures from your camera to your computer.

Camera doesnt work

Sorry talhahs, creative has not written Vista compatible driver software for you're PC-Cam 350 camera. Hence you're camera will not function with any version of Vista.
There are few SD readers currently that are compatible with Vista. Click on this link to see one type.

A card reader that will help you in transferring pictures from you’re camera to you’re PC while using Vista.
Win XP, unlike Vista will still run program software even if it has not passed MS's compatability.

Good Luck!

I have just installed a new computer with Windows Vista. I am getting an advisory that there are compatability problems with Vista and the Canon iP1700 printer. C an you advise?

There are several things you can try if you have a device that is not working correctly:.
Please check this link. You will find the driver for vista
DRIVER
• Check if updated drivers are available through Windows Update. When you check Windows Update, click View available updates to determine if an updated driver is available for your device. For more information, see Install Windows updates.
• Make sure that the hardware device is compatible with your computer and with your version of Windows. If the device is not compatible, you will need to find the correct driver. Check the information that came with your device. You can also search for the device on the Windows Vista Hardware Compatibility List (HCL) website. This website contains a comprehensive list of computers and devices that have been tested to work with Windows Vista.
• Many devices require special drivers to work properly. Be sure that you have installed any software discs that came with the device.
• Restart the computer. Restarting might be necessary if the driver requires it or if the driver did not install correctly.
• If the device is a universal serial bus (USB) device, disconnect it and then plug it in to a different USB port. Windows should detect the device and install the drivers, and will notify you if the device drivers did not install properly.
If this does not work please come back to me
