I recently bought a lptop from a guy who was leaving for the Netherlands and i now cant use it because when i switch the laptop on, the first thing it requires is a drivelock code and i was never told about it,what is a drivelock code and how do i get by it

Hi you can disable drivelock by entering system bios and security settings. Please read the notes below and remember you can only do when starting the pc and not when you're restarting.
DriveLock passwords Enable/disable DriveLock; change a DriveLock
user or master password.

when you enter Computer Setup by turning
on (not restarting) the computer.
with 2gb of ram. yes you can run Vista but the question is, do you really want VISTA? it might run sure, but it might be too slow, if i were you, i will upgrade the ram and still use XP and you would definitely see a performance boost with that upgrade
