Do you see the red light on the bottom of the mouse when you pick it up? If not, the mouse could be bad. Either way, try plugging it in to another usb port. If it still does not work, the mouse likely needs to be replaced.

Mouse optico doesnt work

dear,

The small notch in usb device socket under the mouse was malfunctioning. If you press this notch you will find the mouse red light blink. If you further try pressing this notch at some point the mouse red light comes on constantly. Thats it, hold it there and try to connect first by pressing the usb device connect switch and then the mouse connect switch. The moment the connection is made the usb device stops blinking and the red light on the mouse starts blinking. Wow, it works now. Some one might just open the mouse and fix this microswtich for a permanent solution.

Have you tried re-setting the frequency for one of the devices? simply click the button on the infra-red unit then click the button on the back of keyboard and notice the infra-red unit stopped scanning.

I would get a new mouse. Sounds like there is an issue with the usb connector.
