Setting "pop up" for viewing text messages on my Sony Ericsson Z750A
When I first got my Sony Ericsson Z750A and I received a text message, the message would be there when I opened the phone. Then, one day the messages just stopped popping up and now I have to manually view them via the menu and it's really annoying. I've read through the manual, searched through all of the menus on the phone, and checked on the Sony Ericsson support website and have found nothing. Can someone help me?
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones). click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need. Good luck!

hi there, call the customer service of your service provider ( AT&T,Vodafone,Verizon etc)....they will set up message center number on your phone , the one that you have might be incorrect...your mobile operator will send you sim updates that will refresh the settings ....and then you will get the text message options cheers
I have this phoneand must say it has totally pissed me off at this point so I understandeveryone's frustration. My phone had many of the problems posted onthis site but here is the solution to your specific issue, which I justhad to fix on my phone yesterday. First, the people at the phone stores will tell you it is the battery - IT IS NOT USUALLY THE BATTERY! The OS (operating system) for the phone is the worst I have ever seen. TheFIX - Go to the Sony Website(http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/support/softwaredownloads/z750a?lc=en&cc=us)here you will the update to your phone software. Download the softwareand follow the instructions. Yes, it will work even though you seem tohave no display. Warning---- This will erase all the phone memoryand reset it to original factory setting. You will lose everything notback up on a memory chip or the SIM card. Also, you will need to use aphone to usb cable that you may have to purchase (10 dollars or so). Toget the phone working again it may be worth it. I back up my phone tomy computer so that I maintain picture and such that I do not want tolose.
In general I back up my phone frequently because the OSbecomes unstable and crashes the phone. I do an extraordinary amount oftexting and if I receive a text and send a text at the same time thephone just gives up sometimes and shuts off. And, this phone is theKING of shutting down for no reason whatsoever. I have had so manyissues with the operating system that I will not get another Sonyphone. Back to Nokia for me. Hope this can save some people the timeand aggravation I have had with it.
I think the problem here is with your connection. I understand that you have the right settings from your operator...however you should check with them to see if your line is data enabled for MMS (this is how your pictures are sent....in an MMS message).
I had a similar problem when dealing with my own phone of the same type. The only permanent solution is to engage the master reset which you can find in the settings folder. A temporay solution is to go to your outbox, and you'll have a message that either has a little red x on it or just is a plain letter shape. if you try to delete this it will say one or more messages can't be deleted. make sure you change it's status to canceled, then select it choose send to drafts. make sure there are no messages in your outbox and only the one message you just moved to drafts in that folder. it still will npot allow you to delete the message. remove your battery while the phone is still on. replace reboot go to drafts and you should be able to then delete the message from drafts. if you still can't the only option i see, which is what i did, is to use the master reset
