-   I've misplaced the directions for my A/C.....should the vent be opened or closed when operating?-   Mamiem
F1 - F3 are the fan speeds when the air conditioner is in fan only mode.
The vent can be opened or closed based on your preference. When the air conditioner is in a/c or dehumidifier mode having the vent closed will cause the a/c unit to recirculate the room air and cool / dehumidify quicker. When you open the vent the a/c unit takes air from outside and cools / dehumidifies it. It is obviously not as efficient this way but it does bring in fresh air.

I have a Ionic Pro Model No. CA-200B, and I am trying to find a repair/service place in my area that can clean my Ionic Pro air purifier. I tried cleaning it using the instructions - even deep clean, but the red light for Clean keeps coming on. When I contacted the manufacturer they told me to try to put a vacuum hose inside, which is impossible because the cavity area is too small, and I am afraid of damaging the purifier. Thank you for your assistance.

Guys, I have looked into the manual and can't see an explanation for the DRY function on the Air Conditioner in my house. I have been hopeful that it meant the function would DRY the HUMIDITY from the room. Am I completely wrong? I really want to know what DRY means, when to use it and why. THANKS, CC in Miami Beach

Last night, our circuit breaker tripped, as it has done before, and now the window unit will not power back on. However, the test buttons indicate it is in fact receiving power. This happened once before and after a while it just suddenly came on. Is there some kind of setting that I am unaware of? We have had the unit a few years now and have had no real problems with it.
