zetecvacuumtz6.jpg user_offline.gif If it's equipped with the 2.0L SPI engine (eighth digit of the VIN is 'P'), the most common place for a vacuum leak on these engines, is from the PCV hose that runs from the valve cover to the back of the throttle body. Where it usually rots through is the elbow at the back where it connects to the throttle body. Hope this helps. The only place i could find any views is here. vacuum hose diagram - Focus Fanatics

I would try alldata.com or repairpath.com. I can't copy and paste the vacuum hose diagram to fixya.com for some reason.

Where is the fuse box compartment located in the ford focus 2000 registration European right hand drive model car

Here is a link to the manual online. It's PDF so you can print if you want. The right hand drive model should be no different. The box is located in the engine compartment, on the left or right of the engine (usually Left when facing vehicle from front.} and is pretty easy to spot. Look at about page 189 and on in the manual to see what it looks like. You also have a rear compartment fuse box for some items.

Chrysler 300m starts at high idle in cold weather

First check the error codes. they can be a lifesaver. Physically look under the hood for cracked or leaky vaccuum hoses. High idling often indicates a vaccuum leak somewhere. look at the vaccuum elbows on both the right and left side of the engine just about midway down the engine from front to back on the plenum- that's the big, black flat assy that channels the air as it goes into the engine.
Once again the codes can tell us alot.

With my foot on the brake and in drive I rev the gas but when I take my foot off the car idle drops and then it stalls

Check under the hood for a vaccuum leak. This could be a bad vaccuum hose. If no vaccuum leak then this actually sounds like your IAC is bad (idle air control motor) and needs replaced.

I have a 2000 ford focus DOHC when you stop it

I think this is all due to your vacuum leak.
Look for a hose not connected to the throttle body or the intake manifold. Use a piece of hose to find the source of the leak. Hold one end near ear and probe around the engine carefully.

Ford focus, 2000 zx3 code p0455

your engine code means "big leak" in the evap control system, this system has alot of pieces, but you are looking for a vacuum leak most probably, look at your vacuum hoses, and refer to the vacuum diagram stuck under your hood for routing, see if you have a bad hose, or disconnected hose some where. these are small vacuum hoses that attach to the purge valve, air filter housing, and charcoal cannister. let me know what you find.
