WEBcams are a throw away items and not worth fixing, if you could get it fixed, the cost is likely be close to a new WEBcam. To determine if the WEBcam is faulty and not the computer, connect to WEBcam to a different computer to see if it works. You may need to install the WEBcam driver. After testing you can uninstall the WEBcam driver.
Visit the Logitech website and browse the photo gallery for your model and click on the photo to navigate to the support page. Note - Older models on page 2 - look for the link at the bottom right of page 1 and click on it "Still can't find your product?"
In addition to the Logitech installer you will need to download Microsoft DirectX 9 or later to support your webcam
Procedure Close all programs while uninstalling - downloading and uploading software Disconnect your webcam Uninstall the current webcam software on your computer Restart computer Download the Installation package from Logitech Run the installer and choose your options during the installation - You may not want Logitech Chat but the Desktop icon for the webcam toolbar is a must. Connect your webcam when prompted.
If you wish to chat using webcams. You can try downloading Skype and using that as a medium for your webcams to connect to each other over. You can also use MSN messenger to chat with the webcams as well.

Got a solution... you have to close and exit the A4tech (AMCAP) screen. Then start the yahoo webcam by clicking the "My Webcam" on the yahoo messenger. At this time, you should be able to see yourself at yahoo webcam.
