SOURCE: my toto toilet keeps running

if its a metal arm connecting the ballcock shut off valve to the float flush it and bend the metal so the float is lower. if u can adjust the ball **** lower then do so. the shut off is not shutting off cause the float isnt going high enough. and the excess is going down the overflow.

SOURCE: Toto GMax Flushing System drips

What you are experiencing is a flapper valve problem. Since I don't know what model you have I will give you a link to the generic GMax unit. Here is the parts breakdown for a GMax

Toto GMax

I would suspect you need part #7 on this diagram a flapper valve. Take the old one with you since different colors ones are used on different models. You should go to the Toto site to locate a dealer first. You can find their site here:

Hope this helps and please remember to rate this!

SOURCE: My Toto keeps running

Yes, there is either a screw that can be turned lowering or raising the water level, usually found on top of the fill valve.

Or there is a lever system that raises or lowers the float, thereby raising and lowering the water level.

The first it typically found on fill valves with a float ball attatched by a metal rod to the top of the fill valve.

The second are on the "fluidmaster" type fill valves.

If you still cannot find the water level adjustment describe in detail or provide pictures of the type of fill valve you have and I will walk you through it.

SOURCE: loose Toto toilet seat

Lift up plastic caps located on ends of hindge behind seat. use flat screw driver and hold the nut under the outside toilet rim with your fingers or a pair of pliers. Do not over tighten or might crack the bowl.

SOURCE: Toto toilet is constantly running, even though the tank is full

it sounds like it might be the floater ball in the toilet you can adjust the tension on it usually with a screwdriver.... if you look from the top down you should see a screw on the top of the arm that holds the floater adjust the tension and hopefully this will work

How do I get the water to stop filling the tank on my toto ST794S toilet?

there should be a screw adjustment on the ballcock or fill assembly...screw that down some to adjust...that regulates your tank water level....that screw goes in or out to adjust...one or other should do the trick...may have to do this a few times to get proper adjustment...good luck..

The toto toilet keeps running over the overflow tube in the tank. I cleaned the valve which worked for a while but now is back to running. Should I replace the gravity valve?

If you can lift the float arm and it stops the water flow into the tank then the float arm needs to be adjusted. The proper adjustment will stop the water flow when the level is between 3/4" and 1" from the top of the overflow tube. The newer style valves have an adjustment screw that is easily located and can be adjusted without any dis-assembly.

Toto toilet Power Gravity intermittently running

You need to either bend the arm that connects tot he float down (if it is the type with the ball float) or adjust the height of the fill valve assembly. THis accomplished by slightly twisting the valve assembly carefully and sliding down a half of an inch or so and then twisting back to lock it in place.

This should fix you up right.

Toto toilet Power Gravity intermittently running

I suggest that you replace the cap with the new seal, it sounds as tho the valve is not shutting off and the bowl fill tube continues to run. Have you adjusted the water level to 3/4 of an inch below the overflow tube. If not, try that.

Did you replace the flapper with a genuine Toto replacement flapper? If you didn't, they are slightly different. Toto toilets are fantastic but you do need to use OEM parts for repair.
