you can unlock your T- mobile with the help of the codes, why i am saying codes means they are simple & easy way, but at a free of cost is not possible for this type of mobiles, do not worry for that one you can get the code at a reasonable cost itself, just visit this site www.theunlockarena.com/t-mobile-wing/rs13wp9 , it has the step by step instructions for unlocking your mobile from the network lock............. Once you get the unlock code after that you can switch your mobile as you wish network...........
I had problems with unlocking my T-mobile Wing, (refer to my post above), But the T-mobile customer service has been very kind in providing me with the unlock code for usage outside USA. I think getting an unlocking code from the customer service (of course, if possible) is currently the best way to unlock you wings.
Step 1 Check to see if the return days have passed for your device. This usually occurs after 121 days of contract use.
Step 2 Dial "611" from your device or dial (877) 453-1304 from any phone.
Step 3 Ask the customer service representative for the "Unlock Code" for your T-Mobile Wing. Tell the representative you plan to travel overseas if you will using the phone on vacation, or simply mention that you have been using T-Mobile service for more than 120 days. Let them know that you will be using a SIM card from another provider to receive and make calls at a lower cost, if you happen to be traveling.
Step 4 Enter the unlock code given to you by the T-Mobile representative. The unlocked code usually entails entering a series of key presses as described by the customer service representative.
Step 5 Let the device reset or cycle through the unlocking process. You are now ready to use the device on a variety of cell phone carriers.
You don't have to contact T-Mobile for unlocked code since you are no longer their customer but yo canbuy an unlocked code on Ebay.com by register with Ebay as a new user, choose option Cell phones & PDAs from Categories and then scroll down to look for Unlocking Kits and Codes and then type your phone model, it will show you a bunch of unlocking code for sale. Good Luck
