Hello. The DLC 7070-M1 shower interprets characters in English (QWERTY), while my keyboard is in French. How to make the shower interprets characters in French? Thank you for your help.

ust press the CTRL+SHIFT keys and you will switch from French to English

You may be able to purchase an English keyboard for your Acer Notebook.

Consult your nearest computer store in this regard.

You need to look at your keyboard settings in control panel (if windows). A and Q mix up is between french type keyboard layouts and English layouts. Top left Q is English, top left A is French, commonly known as QWERTY and AZERTY

This may vary depending on your version of Windows but it should be basically the same: go into control panel, bring up "region and language" then the third tab, "keyboards and languages". The the first button on that screen, "change keyboards". This screen has a drop-down menu with a list of languages such as English - United States (or presumably whichever one you're looking for).

Note I set my control panel view to "small icons". In category view it's under clock/language/region. Hope I was able to help!

Its not the keyboard fault but your operating system. I'm going to assume you live in Canada and when you had setup the computer for the first time you had selected Canada has country you live in instead of the United States (default) If you notice on your desktop or taskbar there will be a keyboard logo. Click it and select US 101 keyboard (United states). You get the french symbols because microsoft thinks because you live in Canada you must be french canadian.... stupid eh! They have it selected to mulitlingual Canadian. Select the US English as default and you shouldn't get those french symbols when you really want the shift or question mark key.

I live in Canada and I see looks of people who ask me the same question all the time.
