How do I get started with my Eclipsemp3 player

  1. You take the USB cable and plug the player into either your computer or into a special wall adapter to let it charge. Preferably the computer.
  2. Once it's charged, you can upload downloaded songs from your computer onto the player, or just listen to the songs that come with it. Hope this helps!

How do I name my eclipse mp3

You do it through Windows Media Player after connecting the Eclipse to a PC. This is how it's described in a manual on the Eclipse site.

Connecting to a PC - Loading files
Using Windows Media Player (Note: you must use Windows Media Player 10 or later to use this feature.)

  • Open Windows Media Player and connect the player to a working USB port. Windows Media player will prompt you with a setup screen asking you to name the MP3 player.
  • Once you have named your MP3 player, select Finish, and your Windows Media Player will open to the Sync tab.

Printer not being recognized by computer

Sir/Madam

1. Is the printer turned on?
Make sure the printer is turned on.
Make sure the power cord is securely plugged into the electrical outlet.
Test the power by plugging in the power cord of another electrical appliance to an electrical outlet and turn it on. If the power to the other electrical appliance comes on, the printer may be considered to be faulty.
If this product is recognized:
Close this page to return to the installation window.
If this product is not recognized:
Proceed to the next step.
2. Are your computer and the printer correctly connected?
Make sure the USB cable is securely connected to the printer and to your computer and check that the USB cable is not damaged nor badly crimped.
The printer will not be recognized during the driver installation if connected to a printer switch or the printer buffer. If this is the case, try to directly connect the printer to your computer using the USB cable.
If you are connecting the printer to your computer via a USB hub, connect the printer to the first-tier hub from your computer. If the printer driver is still not recognized on your computer, try to directly connect the printer to your computer without the USB hub.
If you are connecting the printer to your computer via a USB hub, make sure the USB hub device is recognized by your computer.
If this product is recognized:
Close this page to return to the installation window.
If this product is not recognized:
Proceed to the next step.
3. Does your computer provide USB or IEEE 1394 support?

My tomtom go 700 will not connect to my pc

The moment you connect your TomTom device to a computer, your device should ask Do you want to connect to 'computer'. Once you tap YES, it should connect to the computer. TomTom HOME then starts.

If your device is not connecting, click one of the solutions below:

Bought a new MP3 player. ECLIPSE is the brand from Kmart. and it says device isn't installed properly. It didn't come with a disc or anything? What do I do?

Connect the mp3 player to a computer. So, you'll need a download cable if you don't already have one. These cables are easily available at any retail store, and most department store clerks know exactly which cable you need. Next, I would go to eclipsemp3.com on the internet to learn a little information about your mp3 player. Then go to eclipsemp3manual.com to learn how to download software, songs, or what ever you want to put on the mp3 player. Simply follow the instruction for device set-up, once you get connected to the computer, and your mp3 will become installed properly. Have fun with your new mp3 player!!!

My adaptor is not recognized in my USB ports I installed the router and it completes all of its connection checks. I am trying to install the adaptor on a remote computer (in the basement) and that...

Here's what you can do since this is a USB wireless adapter, first connect the USB adapter on a different USB port on the computer better if you connect it on the back USB port of the computer tower and check if the computer will recognize it and if its recognize you can already continue with the software installation , but if not you can restart first the computer and check if the adapter will be recognized if still not the next thing to do here just to know if the adapter is good or bad is to connect it on a different computer and just to check if it will be recognized once its connected to a USB port , because a device should be automatically will be recognized by a computer once you connect it so if its still not recognized by a different computer adapter is bad...
