I can't find a windows 2000 driver for this adapter which is installed in the Toshiba Satellite Pro 4600 (model - ps460e-020s7-en) I have now been looking for 1 whole day but have had no luck i would really appreciate it if you could help!!
Usually Toshiba WEB site would have the driver, you normally go to their download page, enter your laptop model and device etc. Failing that there are a couple of WEB site that have a large collection of drivers, you need to know the exact make and model of your device. TRY www.driverguide.com www.driverscollection.com

Toshiba (PA3070U-1MPC) 802.11b Wireless Adapter is a card in a slot in your puter.
the operating system will reset it automatically
what your more likely having issue is that windows says it little or no connectivity or it does not see your router correctly . try deleting the remembered connections 1st.
reset your router should be a reset button on the back, hold in till the lights on the front flash then its reset open explorer browser type in 10.1.1.1 or 10.0.0.1 log in as Administrator add new user set password while adding new user save your new settings(write them down too) run your network wizard again with your new settings applied
test the internet for function
if no function then contact your ISP to assist with connection to internet
Unfortunately you have to know your security key, it's there for your privacy protection, like passwords to your e-mail or other services. You have to ask the person who set up the router about the password (key), or ask that person to change it to a new one - and this time write it down and put in a safe place, where you can find it in the future, like on a piece of paper pasted on the router box. If you change the key on the router, and have other computer(s) using this connection, you will have to re-enter the new key on those machines.
hey there the easiest thing to do is go to microsoft update right click my computer=> properties=> automatic updates, click on the update site link and choose manual install you should find your driver there seth
Did you install the Linksys WLAN monitor to manage the wireless settings? If not, I'm afraid that you won't be able to configure the wireless settings on your 2000 computer without the Linksys WLAN monitor installed.
