No, I did not solve the problem. And, I am not willing to pay for the solution. I received this as a gift from the Tennessee Valley Authorities and thought I could get the solution from Magellan, but could not find them for help.

Thanks anyway.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

You can try to assemble a new screen

or send you damaged one to magellan and purchase a new or refurbished one at a discounted price.

My recommendation would be simply to replace entire unit unless you have experience fixing electronics.

Magellan explorist 100 is 2 hours out on time and I don't know how to reset it.

Go to Preferences and select Restart GPS. Then select Enter Coordinates and set your local time (no need to change coordinates so just press enter till you get to the time field). Hit Escape and now the time should be correct.

Replacement keypad membrane

If you look on magellan website it states they no longer have or support replacement parts for older gps models.
You can find an explorist for parts on ebay.
I own a explorist 100, 400, 500. I believe the key pads are all the same. If you can not find one, I will sell you the pad from the explorist 100 for 30 dollars plus shipping.

Changing displayed time

Go to Preferences, select Restart GPS. Then Enter Coordinates. Keep hitting the enter key until you get to the time field, now set your local time. And no, you will not lose your POI.
