Refer to the section of your owner's manual that addresses the car radio. Each car radio is different in the way you set the clock. If you've installed a car radio other than the one that was manufactured with the car, consult the manual for that radio.

    • 2

Know that if this is the first time you're setting the clock or are setting the clock after installing a new battery in your car, you have to set the hour and the minute of time. Often, you set the clock with either the radio station up or down arrows. On some car stereos, you use the CD track selector buttons for setting the clock.

    • 3

Using either the CD or radio selector buttons, set the hour first. Push the button labeled "Set" or "Clock" and then set the minute with the same procedure. When setting the minute, some manufacturers allow you to move through in increments of five by pressing and holding the button. If the time of day were 2:49 p.m., for example, you would push the button 13 times, including nine times to display :45, then four additional times incremented by one to display :49. Push the "Set" button or the "Clock" button.

Determine whether your car stereo is equipped to automatically change when Daylight Saving Time begins and ends. If it hasn't changed at 2 a.m. of the time-changing date, you know it isn't equipped for this. In that case, set the hour either forward or backward and the appropriate time of the year.

If you can't figure out how to set the clock on your car stereo, wait until noon on any given day, disconnect your car battery and reconnect it.

How do you set the time on an 2000 dodge durango ?

Make sure your car is in the "ACC" or "ON" position, and hold down the "TIME" button on the face of the radio until the time starts blinking. Press "TIME" until the hours start blinking, then use the "TUNE" knob to change the hours. Press the "TIME" button once more to change to minutes, and use the "TUNE" knob to change the minutes once they have started blinking. Afterwards, press any other button on the radio to exit programming mode. Hope this helps!

is an after market radio installed in the vehicle? if so, it sounds like you have the yellow wire (constant power) connected to a switched power source. you need to connect it to a source that is still hot with the key turned off.

How much mileage you can do before you change your timing belt

Depends on make and model and is also time related, for example change at 70,000 or 5 years, or 36000/3 years so question cant be answered.
If in doubt or you don't know the vehicle history it is better to change it, and cheaper in the long run, as valves and piston replacement don't come cheap.

Normally there is a "set" and "time" button on the clock itself. By pressing and holding down the "set" button for a second or so, you should access the setting sequence, and the "hour" should start flasshing. Set the hour with the "time" button". Press "set" button again to move to minutes and set. To exit settings, press and hold "set" button again. Hope this helps

Need to change the time on my clock on a factory radio/cd player on a 2004 chevrolet blazer, can you tell me how?

Most GM factory head units have two small buttons on the face of the unit that are labeled "H" and "M", and you need to press them with the tip of a pin or other similar item.

Press the "H" button for changing the Hours, and the "M" button for minutes
