Lenovo n100 webcam doesn't work (by 2 users)

hi,
i downloaded the chicony liteon drivers for the webcam in my laptop (lenovo n100). however, after the installation, i'm unable to figure out, how to start my webcam. i'm able to use it for online applications like yahoo messenger's video chat, but i'm unable to run it as an independent program..like to take pictures of myself...please help me regarding this...

my integrated 3000 N100 webcam is not working.even the sound is not working.only if i connect speaker or headset it works.suggest.help plz
