Whe I start my pc a small window says the installer failed to exit a running instance of magic jack

I think magic jack relates to your sound driver/device. I would try removing and re-installing your sound driver. If you let me know your model of computer or sound card I may even be able to provide a download link for the drivers.

Monitor does not come on

Hi Scott,
please check the removing the vga cable of monitor and turn its power on and display must show no signal error itself you can see it very clear text on it.
if your monitor good check the cable and plug it back to pc.then turn on the pc.if computer starts you can hear the HDD sound and please note the Beep sounds comes up or not ,if continues beep comes up problem can be with your pc memory modules or vga card ,sometimes mother board,
clean the ram card using smooth brush and mother board also.
unplug the power supply jack and re insert it .
remove the vga card also and do the same.

first all check the power unit fan is turning on when you press the power button too...
please let us know the results or come with more details.

Sound issues

The sounds(beeps) that you hear are coming from something else inside the computer, and not your main sound card. If your sound doesnt work, even with the correct drivers, then your sound card may be broken.
