yOU NEED to know the motherboard. Type the name of the motherboard in the website search tool then add audio and video driver. Try to download the suggested compatible driver for your audio and video driver. want to know more info just email me firstname.lastname@example.org
To download any of your motherboard supported drivers... search online specifying your motherboard model. For example, if your motherboard model is Intel DG41RQ; search as "Drivers for Intel DG41RQ download" and you will get all the drivers that support your motherboard model from the Intel Website. From there, you can easily download your desired audio driver.
look for the model of the motherboard if its onboard sound and look for audio drivers for your motherboard .. if its a external card look for the card "drivers" or goto the cards manufactuer website.. same with the cd-rom.. find the manufactuer of the cd rom and goto the website and search for drivers for the model. Generic cd rom driver .. is "mscdex" you could search for that.
Hi, you can do a better search using the product # from under the laptop on IBM's website instead of x61s, I think you need to remove or update the driver with the device manager, here is a link to some X61s drivers, try the chipset one first, you may need the HD audio patch too. post the product# and I'll search for it. driver link
