I see that you are having issue with using the camera on your Lenovo with other programs such as Skyp or Yahoo Messenger and so on...
On your Lenovo the camera works with easy capture, that is a good sign saying that your camera works but how to make it work on other applications you will need to get in the applications settings and select the Lenovo Camera as a default device for that specific application that you are using to utilize the camera.
all the applications you mentioned earlier has thier own settings page and this is where you can set each to make the Lenovo Camera the default deivce for it to work on your applications.
I hope that this will help you with your Camera concern.
As you have mentioned that the webcam is not working, could you please let me know that iof you get any error message while opening webcam application or if you are not able to locate the webcam application,
Hi. I suggest you try to press and hold the Function(Fn) button then press the Escape(Esc) button on your keyboard to enable or disable your webcam, when you press the Fn+Esc key it will show you a confirmation if your webcam is ON or OFF, after that try using it again with skype. Hope This Helps
Hi. If this doesnt work try downloading the latest webcam driver for Win 7 at the Lenovo driver support website and install it on your computer. Here's the website consumersupport.lenovo.com just entern the serial no. and will give you every software and drivers for your computer. Hope this helps
http://consumersupport.lenovo.com/en/DriversDownloads/drivers_list.aspx?CategoryID=6 here are all the drivers for vist a...it should work on windows 7 too there is the camera you mentioned..also...my advise is to try to look for a way to get rid on vista cause its slow and annoying in confirmations and beside some looks doesn't have anything...and this windows 7..its just a unfinished release..and it has a great seal of insufficiency...so...even if its faster than vista ...and indeed looks great ..you gonna have problems all the time ...with drivers...compatibility ..and functionality ...I would go for a XP sp3///a little cosmetizate maybe a rocket doc...to use it like a MAC interface...it will look great ..handle perfect speed like a gazele ...and drivers all over the place ..
