After researching Cisco site. And testing. I suggested the coutomer log on to the device and adjust settings. It turns out the unit when using a power injector goes into a Power Managment mode. The unit goes to half power and can cause problems.
    Thanks for the help.

I think you're out of luck. If you had posted this info with the 5 other posts you made you would have gotten this answer sooner.
You have over-written the PROM on the AP with garbage.
You could contact Engenius and see if they will flash the PROM with a working image otherwise you have a piece of junk.

Linksys Wireless-G WAP54G 802.11g/b Wireless will this work with my toshiba laptop?

You actually need to post more information about your laptop. The answer is likely yes, if you have an 802.11 g/b adapter in your laptop. Most laptops ship with these built in. If you'd like more information, please note your laptop model and operating system (e.g., Windows XP) in your next post.

I know nothing about uverse, but I'd like to suggest a link to this forum, at a site that has been a great resource for me with all kinds of networking questions. Apparantly there have been some issues with 2wire, so check the 2wire site for firmware updates, possibly see this article.
Aside from that, I can offer you the standard troubleshooting links for xp, here, here, here, and here.
Good luck.

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.

SMC2870W

Thos light only telling you that there's a problem with the router , because the wireless light should be always ON and the power should not be blinking, first thing to do is to reset the router by pressing the reset button for 30 seconds while the power is ON then unplug the power for 5 seconds.
If still the same problem the router can is bad already and better contact the manufacturer for further troublshooting and if its still under warranty have it replace with them.....

Hope that helps...........

Dont forget to rate the solution FIXYA thank you....
