I was just reading about a similar problem the other day. Make sure you don't have any of the buttons locked down in the pressed position.
Specifically, they were talking about the gallery review button, next to the camera shutter button on the right side of the phone, the one with the little PLAY arrow and the checkerboard pattern on it.

Just format your phone by the following way
To Format the phone
1)Switch off the phone
2)Hold 3,* and Green button simultaneously
3)Now press the power button holding the 3 button, After 5 seconds leave the 3 buttons
4)You phnoe should say, formatting and all your data would be reset to factory orginal
CAUTION: You will loose all the data and contacts stored in phone memory, But this is the only way
try this : This works on most mini electronic devices like cellular phones and degital cameras etc .
it sounds crazy .
Remove the back (or Cover ) of the phone( or Camera ), battery, and SIM if your phone ( or Device ) uses one , DIRECTLY .
Then, with a q-tip (or something similar), dab the connection points (shiny, goldish) on the battery, SIM, and phone. This should aid in drying.
Finally, place all contents in a bag of uncooked rice (separately, do not put back together just yet). it sounds crazy , but it draws the moisture out.
It normally is working after just 7-8 hours, but I would wait 12 hours or even 24 hours before attempting to use (just to be sure).
beware the water damage, despite being dry now, will void any warranties. Also, the phone's hardware is now weakened and if you drop it, the green mother board and circuitry could shatter - so be more careful.
This does work on electronic devices aside from phones as well. Simply tailor it to your device. If you do not have a SIM (Verizon phones, cameras, all others), remove only the battery. If you have an iPhone/iPod or GPS and cannot remove the battery, simply make sure it is all the way off, then put it in the rice bag. All electronic devices react the same to the rice trick. related link is here : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0-Otjgd48nY
You can try to have your battery out for over 1 minute. Reset factory settings. Then there is an option for soft format which will erase all info stored on phone and reset phone to it's original settings. If no go, Nokia might have a new SW for this issue, probably you are not the only one who experience this.
N95 Memory Full Problem can not be resolve by simply restarting or by changing the network setting. You must "Manual Reset" it. Just Turn Off the Phone, Press the *, Call Button, Three and ask another Person to turn on your N95 by pressing the power button. Stay pressing the Three Buttons until the phone fully boot up and ask you to enter Date and Time. After that, youre phone will go back to Factory Setting.
it looks like the only way to get it back to life is by taking it to a service center and getting the operating system re-flashed. by the looks of things, your latest firmware updating process got interrupted and it didn't have a chance to complete.
Hey dude, One thing, if ur nokia N95 is china mobile. U cannot access or have connection to internet. If it is NOKIA branded, consult a mobile technician or ur SIM operator for GPRS settings. ===============================================
Send me a feedback and rate my solution too.
Dont forget to post a clarification request for ur problem after it is solved.
It must be a connection problem, to the LCD, or the light is not working.
Can only be sorted by looking at it really.
Back to Telstra I'm afraid. If it's new let them sort it out, if it's not try a reset take the sim card out first then input this code *#7780# (Best to use this code as a last resort) Give it time to work.
