Question about Fargo DTC525 ID Card Printer

Problem on card print using Fargo DTC525 Single Side Print model

The Ccure access control software we are using to print Fargo DTC 525 printer single side print give error message that the flipper is not installed on printer. Have check with our vendor who supply ccure software and they feedback that is the Fargo printer problem. Any solution to this problems?

    Every time I go to print the needs cleaning message comes up even though I have cleaned the printer with the kit. How do you reset the message so it doesn't come up every time? It shows every time even if you select remind me after 10 prints.

I think the problem is in the printer definition. Perhaps the software is calling for the output to be duplexed. The printer does not have a duplex installed so it creates the error. On the other hand, if the printer does have the duplex option, then you are looking at a printer problem.

You can check with fargo, or perhaps your vendor is giving you the bad rep, since they refuse to help you. i would not do business with them again.

if the printer worked before maybe the program needs to be reinstalled.

My fargo printer prints black and white on the back of the card

Possible solution: Change the resin dither from Optimized for Graphics to Optimized for Photos with in the printer driver under the image color tab.

For model number DTC525, your printer divers, firmware, User Guides and Diagnostic Tools are available here:

At this point drivers are only availAble for Windows NT/2000/XP, Windows 98/ME and Mac.

Your printer is currently NOT supported for Windows 7.

You might consider submitting a Help Ticket to see if the manufacturer is prepared to assist.

My DTC 525 fargo printer did not print.

if you have the drivers installed correctly , then your only other option is the communication board is bad on the printer.

Printer is printer light and havin color problems

You can either change the image darkness level on the printer or through the printer drivers.

on the 525 control panel, you can go to the setup menu, and search through it until you see image darkness, select it, and change the values, go up or down by 10 points at a time.

in the printer drivers, go to printing preferences, and there is a tab that
will have image darkness in it.

If you are running the self test from the LCD panel on the printer and not from the print driver on the computer, you may have a problem with your main control board in the printer.

Print quality with Fargo DTC500 printer

You might go to the print driver settings to change the way the printer prints the card. This can be found in the printing preferences. Go to the device options tab and choose "rotate front 180 degrees". Then print a card. This may fix the problem.

HDP820-LC printer is not printing.

Please check with fargo and make sure you have the latest version of the patches.

also update the printer drivers. If its working on self test, the software is doing something to it. Try printing only single sided and see what happens.
