I have lost the lead that plugs into the wall socket to the charger as they come in two parts, it looks the same as a kettle lead, not sure if i can use any or if voltage would be different, anybody know what voltage lead i would need as i dont want to blow up my camerecorder
The battery should have a transformer. This would mean the current should be altered here and that the chord wont make a difference. You can get any lead, as long as it fits. If you are worried, go to a photo shop and purchase a new one.

Check the wall power fuse in plug, then make sure cable are fully pushed into the power reducement plug in middle of socket and camera, if power adaptor feels cold after an hour then the charger may be damaged.
hi i have the sony dvd-rw 1.4 gb accucore and i have some video on it that i filmed and i wanna watch it on my pc and upload it later but my pc is unable to read the cd so i tried to finalize the cd and yet it didnt help..what can i do beside watch it on my camerecorder..?!
This style camcorder has an adapter that feeds off of the battery charger...the charger plugs into the wall on top of the charger you place the battery and if you look on the front of the charger you will/should have an outlet that looks like two holes. This charger should have come with an adapter that looks like the battery only it is attached to a cord. You should than be able to open the battery compartment and insert the corded (battery) and presto it works...if you do not have one you can contact Sharpusa.com
Many of hte Sharps used a cable that had teh DC socket at one end and a "battery" at the other end. The part that goes to the camera actually looks like a battery with wires coming out of the top. What model do you have? I can provide a better description and perhaps a part number for a replacement.
