Lost camerecorder lead

I have lost the lead that plugs into the wall socket to the charger as they come in two parts, it looks the same as a kettle lead, not sure if i can use any or if voltage would be different,anybody know what voltage lead i would need as i dont want to blow up my camerecorder

The battery should have a transformer. This would mean the current should be altered here and that the chord wont make a difference. You can get any lead, as long as it fits. If you are worried, go to a photo shop and purchase a new one.
